Ces miniatures furent remises a Maurice Richard par le president de la LNH, Clarence Campbell. Elles symbolisent deux des cinq championnats consecutifs que le Canadien a remportes entre 1956 et 1960.

3. Bague de la Coupe Stanley
Bague en or offerte a Maurice Richard par le Club de hockey Canadien apres la conquete de la Coupe Stanley en 1959. Elle porte l?inscription « Capt. M. Richard ».

4. Le match des etoiles de 1949
Chandail arborant le numero 9 porte par le Rocket lors du match des etoiles de 1949. Maurice Richard a participe a 13 matchs des etoiles au fil de sa carriere de 18 ans.

2. Miniature Stanley Cup
1957-58 and 1958-59
These miniature Stanley Cups were presented to Maurice Richard by NHL president Clarence Campbell. They represent two of the five consecutive championships won by the Canadiens between 1956 and 1960.

3. Stanley Cup ring
The Rocket?s gold Stanley Cup championship ring. A gift from the Canadiens hockey club in 1959, it is inscribed “Capt. M. Richard.”

4. All-Star Game, 1949
The Rocket?s Number 9 All-Star sweater, worn in 1949. Maurice Richard played in13 All-Star games during his 18-year career.

Les detaillants canadiens tirerent profit de l?affichage sur leurs produits du nom et de l?image du Rocket tout au long de sa carriere et bien apres la fin de celle-ci. Dans les annees 1950, sa bague contribua aux ventes du sirop de mais Bee Hive. Le papier d?emballage faisait la promotion d?un produit de boulangerie. La soupe numero 9 fut creee en guise de protestation contre la suspension infligee a Richard en 1955 (elle se voulait une alternative aux soupes Campbell qui portaient le meme nom que le president de la LNH ayant interdit Richard de jeu). Le chandail contribua a faire de Maurice Richard une icone canadienne dans les annees 1980. Le vin au nom du Rocket fut mis en marche apres le deces du celebre joueur en 2000.

Canadian retailers profited from using The Rocket?s name and iconography on their products during his career and long after. In the 1950s, the Rocket ring helped sales of Beehive Corn Syrup; the bread wrapper promoted a baker?s product. Number 9 Soup was produced to protest the Rocket?s suspension in 1955 (it provided an alternative to “Campbell?s”—which shared a name with the NHL President who had barred Richard from playing). The Sweater helped make Richard a Canadian icon in the 1980s; The Rocket wine was marketed after the great player passed away in 2000.
